Taryn Cocheo, President

Taryn works remotely for BOMA, a nonprofit based in Kenya. She has 4 kids, Samantha, off to her first year at college, Ella a Junior at BBA, Charlotte is in tth grade and Andrew is in 5th. She is involved with Girls on the Run and Susan G. Komen foundation. Together with her husband, Tim they moved to Manchester in 2015. She spends her “free” time watching kids sports games and always has a book with her.

Ellen Adams, VP

Ellen is mom to third grader, Charlie. She was a buyer at The Vermont Country Store for 10 years before opening Zippy Chicks consignment shop 13 years ago. She has lived in the area for over 35 years and is a BBA alum! She loves traveling with her family any chance she gets!

Erika Veth, Secretary

Dr. Erika Veth works remotely via her home office in Manchester as the Director of Distance and Continuing Education for a college in Brookline, Massachusetts. She currently has a sophmore at BBA and a 5th grader at MEMS. In Fall 2022, she became the co-chair of the bi-annual Scholastic Book Fair. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, reading, cross-country skiing, spending time with her kids, and volunteering with Bennington County Open Arms to resettle refugees from Afghanistan in our community.

Johanna Dunigan, Treasurer

Johanna is a practicing attorney for over 20 years, specializing in civil litigation. Before law, her first passion was English, and she briefly taught high school literature after earning her Master’s Degree in that subject. She was born and raised in NYC, and moved to Vermont in March 2020 with her husband and 2 children (currently in 8th and 10th grades). Outside of professional life, Johanna is an avid reader, crossword puzzler, dog lover, museum goer, and she can binge watch a good show like nobody's business. She enjoys running when the weather is warm, and her unrequited talent is the ability to recognize a song in a few notes.

Kaitlyn Zwagerman Tyler, Social Media & Events Chair

Kait Zwagerman Tyler has two children at the school, a fifth-grader and a pre-kindergartner. A freelance marketing professional, Kait has also been a yoga teacher in the Manchester area since 2014. She serves on the board of directors for the Manchester Business Association. In her spare time, Kait loves a good podcast, being on the water or in the woods, and spending time with her people and pets.

Lead the charge in raising funds for the PTO! Meet with the committee, plan, organize and execute 3-4 events per school year.

Communicates events, important PTO announcements and reminders in a weekly email.

Foster relations with new and existing local business sponsors who generously donate funds for special events throughout the year.
